Most of my local classes are offered at my Stamp Me Crafty Studio (at my home in Atascocita, Texas (N. Houston area). I also offer “Classes To-Go” for those who aren’t local or who are local but prefer to craft at their leisure.
I offer card-making classes as well as 3D (gift bags, treat boxes, favors, etc) and Home Decor projects. All classes and events are posted to my Event Calendar, announced on my blog the last week of each month, and sent to those signed up to receive my Newsletter. There is a link in the Event Calendar with all class details and to register – just click on the month, then class and all info will pop up.
Private classes, stamp parties and workshops are also available upon request. Please Contact Me for details.
Be sure to subscribe to my Newsletter so you don’t miss out on any upcoming classes, events or promotions! I post exclusive tips and project sheets there as well.
What are Classes Like?
Classes are casual, fun and relaxed with an easy going, interactive atmosphere. Dress in comfortable clothes that you won’t mind if you get a bit messy… we aren’t fancy around here!! Stampers tend to help one another and share their tips and ideas; some are experienced crafters, others are just getting their feet wet, and some are simply enjoying a fun and creative “girls night out.” Classes are kept small so that everyone has plenty of time to relax, have fun and finish their projects.
Stampers receive a “Class Kit” a packet which contains all the pre-cut supplies needed to create their cards or projects for the class. Other supplies (ink, stamps, dies, etc.) are shared among class attendees. You’ll bring your own favorite adhesives and small tools (like paper scissors, bone folder, etc.).**
The main paper pieces are pre-cut for you, but you’ll do all the stamping, coloring, embossing, die-cutting, etc. Stampers can copy my sample projects just as they are, but they are also encouraged to put their own creative spin on them if they like. There is no right or wrong way to be creative! I’m always in awe by the creativity of others, especially those who don’t think they are creative at all!
What Should I Bring?
All Classes are B.Y.O.A. – Bring Your Own Adhesive! I do keep a limited supply of adhesives on hand for purchase for those who may need them or run out during class.
Stampers should bring a Basic Supply Kit to each class with their favorite adhesives and tools. If you are new to paper crafting or need help putting together a basic kit, please contact me and I’d be happy to help! But…
PLEASE, PLEASE do not let the lack of adhesives or tools keep you from trying a class! I have “Guest Supply Kits” to share with those who are new and just getting started, or who simply want to try out a class before committing.
Please feel free to Contact Me!
