A Beary Cute Christmas for Day 1...

Welcome to Day One!

I’m starting off with a “CASE the catty” Holiday Card using the Beary Christmas Suite Collection on page 22-24 of the Holiday Mini Catalog or you can click the link above if you don’t have a catalog handy. If you aren’t familiar with the term “CASE” it refers to a card or project that basically is “copied and shared.” You can case exactly as is or use parts you like and change others to make it “yours.” There’s no right or wrong aside from giving credit to the original designer. I’ve heard the term as: COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING and COPY AND SELECTIVELY EDIT, and I’m sure there are a few more, but you get the idea! So… don’t be afraid to copy something you see and like. It’s also a great time saver or method to “un-block” your creativity when you’re stuck.

I really liked this card when I first saw it in the catalog and have been looking for a good reason to CASE it! I love that it’s sort of non-traditional for a Christmas Card, and can double for a general Holiday or Birthday Card by adding a different sentiment to the inside. I hope you enjoy it too!
