Time to Sale-a-Brate Botanical Butterflies

Pals Blog Hop, Butterfly Card, Sale-a-Bration, Botanical Butterfly, Stamp Me Crafty, stampmecrafty.com, stampin' up!

Welcome to the Pals’ February blog hop. We’re so glad you’re here because it’s “Time to Sale-A-Brate”! Our Design Team created projects using Sale-A-Bration items to inspire you. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

botanical butterfly designers series paper, sale-a-bration, stampin' up!, stampmecrafty.com, simple cards, wink of stella, butterfly duet punch, earn free product

The Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper was the focus for my “Time to Sale-a-Brate” project this month. This beautiful paper is a FREE item you can only earn during Sale-a-Bration time!

There was very little stamping I needed to do for this card… just the sentiment on the front and inside. The rest of the card was made by cutting 2 different sheets of the designer paper and then punching out a butterfly from another sheet. I then colored in the black and white butterfly using a bit of Crushed Curry Ink and a Wink of Stella pen to give it some sparkle. A bit of Gold Metallic Thread finished it off nicely. This was a super quick and simple card to make! #SimpleStamping

As you can see, I punched and colored a second butterfly and glued next to the inside sentiment.  For a full tutorial complete with measurements, Click Here.

Last Call and Clings

Last Call for January Classes!

I’ll be ordering class supplies on Monday morning for January Classes… after that I will no longer be able to accept any new registrations!

New Cling Stamps!

As many of you have heard, Stampin’ Up! has begun rolling out their new red rubber stamps, called Cling Stamps. With the new 2019 Occasions Mini Catalog, they no longer offer Wood or the old Clear Mount. All stamps will be either the new Cling Rubber or Photopolymer.  You can still order the wood or old clear mount from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog until it expires in May. But these new stamps are amazing and they most definitely cling! There are a few tips and tricks to using them properly… check them out in this video.

Have You Heard?

Starting in February I’ll be hosting a 3-part class series as part of my new TECH Club Class exclusively on using the Stamparatus Tool! We’ll be making projects using some cool techniques you can do with this awesome tool.  And have you seen Stampin’ Up!’s new Stamparatus Carrying Case? I absolutely love mine – so easy to keep everything together.

More Petal Promenade

Did you enjoy the card I shared in Wednesday’s Blog Hop? If you missed it you can check it out here.  I actually made a few cards using the same basic format and here is another that I think turned out really well.

Stamp Me Crafty, Terri George, stampin' up!, handmade cards, thank you cards, petal promenade paper, quick and easy cards, #simplestamping

I made several cards using this beautiful designers series paper Petal Promenade…  this paper makes it so easy to create beautiful cards because the paper makes such a statement on its own.
