Welcome to the Pals’ February blog hop. We’re so glad you’re here because it’s “Time to Sale-A-Brate”! Our Design Team created projects using Sale-A-Bration items to inspire you. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
The Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper was the focus for my “Time to Sale-a-Brate” project this month. This beautiful paper is a FREE item you can only earn during Sale-a-Bration time!
There was very little stamping I needed to do for this card… just the sentiment on the front and inside. The rest of the card was made by cutting 2 different sheets of the designer paper and then punching out a butterfly from another sheet. I then colored in the black and white butterfly using a bit of Crushed Curry Ink and a Wink of Stella pen to give it some sparkle. A bit of Gold Metallic Thread finished it off nicely. This was a super quick and simple card to make! #SimpleStamping
As you can see, I punched and colored a second butterfly and glued next to the inside sentiment. For a full tutorial complete with measurements, Click Here.
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Terri, I love the clean lines and design of this beautiful card! Love this Paper!
Lovely, clean design!
Terri, I adore the classic colors of black and white, with that pop of crushed curry. And a little bling never hurt a thing 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Terri… love it! Just a pop of color and strings of gold.
A very beautiful card! Love the colors you used.
Fresh and clean! Love the butterflies!
So pretty! Love your use of this beautiful DSP to highlight the wonderful butterfly!
Great card, great inspiration! The butterfly DSP is definitely one of my favorite Sale-a-Bration products.
